Radiant Health Centers provides the LGBTQ+ community medical services that are compassionate and comprehensive while continuing to serve those living with and affected by HIV.

Radiant Health Centers has been providing more than three decades of exceptional care and support to people living with HIV, along with their families and are expanding their services to ensure that everyone in Orange County has access to stigma-free, compassionate care. They currently offer comprehensive social services and a growing number of medical services, including medical case management for people with HIV or at risk for HIV as well as free hepatitis C testing, full mental health services, and nutrition support and counseling. Radiant Health Centers also offers kids programs and support groups for family and loved ones, vital education and outreach services. Today, Radiant Health Centers helps more than 1,400 men, women, children, and families in Orange County living with or affected by HIV disease. Their social services include food, transportation, housing, emergency financial assistance, kids and family programs, support groups and HIV education and prevention services. Radiant Health Center also provide medical services which include medical case management, benefits counseling, mental health counseling and nutritional programs.

KidWorks mission is to restore at-risk neighborhoods…one life at a time.

KidWorks ushers hope into Orange County’s most challenging neighborhoods through life changing leadership development and academic enrichment programs while also fortifying families by engaging and supporting parents.

KidWorks was founded in 1993 and since, has grown into a vibrant community development non-profit that serves central Santa Ana students and families through a fully licensed preschool, after-school programs, tutoring, mentoring, and adult services in the areas of health, parenting classes, and support groups.

In 2005 KidWorks opened their main community center, the Dan Donahue Center, in honor and memory of a KidWorks’ dear friend, Dan Donahue. In 2009, thanks to a generous in-kind donation from Orange Housing and C&C Development, the KidWorks Center on Townsend Street opened. In 2011, KidWorks opened a third community center in the Bishop Manor neighborhood. In 2015 KidWorks opened a fourth center in the Cedar Evergreen neighborhood.

KidWorks has 5 annual fundraising events in which the proceeds go towards programs and projects. Their next event is the Christmas Store and Toy Drive, with all collections for the toy drive due by December 13th.

Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach’s mission is to empower all young people, especially those who need them most, to realize their full potential as healthy, caring, and responsible adults.

Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach is a non-profit organization that has been serving the children and families of their community for over half a century. From serving 250 youth in the late 1970’s to over 2,000 youth in 2017, the Club’s growth continuous to rise. They provide a “Positive Place” for children and teens during their off school hours and remain in the forefront of youth development for all children regardless of their background or socio-economic status. Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach provides a multitude of programs, in which include: The Arts, Education & STEM, Sports & Recreation, Teens & Young Adults, Youth of the Year Recognition, Preschool, and Adult English classes. Through the growth of the Club’s success, there has been a tremendous impact on the youth and adults involved in their programs. Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach has been able to aid their students in homework, academic success, teamwork, and much more. Mariposa Women and Family Center’s mission is to improve the quality of life for women and families in Orange County by providing high quality, specialized therapy services. 

Mariposa Women and Family Center is a non-for-profit organization that specializes in improving the health of local communities through the well being of women, their children, and their families. Their vision is to provide a safe harbor for women and families from diverse socio-economic communities who receive a high standard of supportive care. Mariposa offers a variety of services, in which include counseling, mental health, drug and alcohol support, domestic violence, community workshops, and professional training. Each year Mariposa offers therapy services to more that 2,200 women. They believe that it is critically important to offer women-specific substance abuse treatment programs because women with a history of trauma or abuse are more likely to recover in gender-specific treatment programs that address these factors. Today, Mariposa is considered to be a trusted source for counseling and therapy in Orange County and is working to become a leading organization in mental health services for the region. Discovery Science Center is designed to inspire a fascination with science, technology, engineering and math (“STEM”) through interactive “hands-on” exhibits and programs that lay a solid foundation for future interest and achievement. By engaging in children’s natural curiosity, Discovery Science Center’s interactive exhibits support the creation of a growth mindset and a love of learning as well as resilience that is essential for success. Discovery Science Center Orange County offers more than 100 hands-on exhibits that allows all visitors to learn about scientific concepts by making clouds, climbing mountains, experiencing earthquakes and hurricanes, initiating rocket launches, and more. Discovery Science Center Los Angeles has 58,000 square feet of building that hosts an exciting blend of permanent and traveling exhibits. Both locations are dedicated to their Four Core Initiatives in which serve as pillars that link exhibits, events and educational programs. With the inclusion of the Four Core Initiatives, the Discovery Science Center aims to inspire and educate young minds through science-based activities and exhibits while creating meaningful impact on the communicates they serve.
